The music of the five friends is authentic and honest - just like an old oak - and consists of a unique mixture from well-known covers and original compositions. The band was founded in 2014 and has become known for a unique sound, the "Oakheart Sound", indebted to country, rock, blues and folk.
In 2025, Oakheart was nominated by the Austrian Country Music Federation (ACMF) for “Band of the Year” and “Singer of the Year.”
